    Import XML file

I am trying to import a file automatically to the database. I would like to use a macro to perform the import. So far I have created a macro and selected Transfer Spreadsheet. I have selected the following Transfer Type: Import, Spreadsheet Type: Microsoft 5-7 (I am using Microsoft Excel 2002), Table Name: ImportProviders (table name I am importing to), File Name: C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Desktop\03.xls

Everytime I try to run the macro I receive a error stating that the path is not valid. I am thinking that I need to use something else for the variable username.

    Any ideas?

Have you tried changing the drive letter to lowercase?
