Unhappy Question about Access 2003 security and unknown publisher warnings

Our company requires a certain security level for files in Access. That's fine, but for files I've set up for internal use, other people using the files get "UNKNOWN PUBLISHER" warnings and macro warnings, that they don't need to get for my particular files. Is there any way to stop them getting those warnings on specific files without lowering their overall security settings? Very frustrating.

If they have a full version of Access, you can create a "Self Certificate" (can't remember exactly what it is called) for an individual FE file. You would have to go to each machine and create a cert for that machine and its unique mdb file. If the machine does not have Access installed you can install a newer version RunTime.

With Access 2007, 2010, 2013 you can create trusted locations and add the directory paths where the files reside to each machine's registry.

The other option would be to lower the security settings on each machine so it will run Access in "Sandbox Mode", and allow to run macros unchecked.
