cant make any changes to access database

i have a database that is not on a network or shared. I was working on it and able to make changes fine. Then for some reason it stopped allowing me to make changes.

It is not read only
When i try to save the changes and close the form it gives the dialogue box asking if you want to save your changes and if you say yes, it just makes the dialogue box disappear and keeps you on the form.
if you try to close out it will ask you to save again but never save and eventually you have to close without saving.


I tried a compact and repair and it didnt help

Possibility is corruption. Might have to import everything to a new db file.

it seems like it was limited to that form. i was able to create a new form, copy all the elements from the old form to the new form and then paste them. This then allowed me to make changes. I will check to see if there are any other issues but it seems to be ok.
