Importing PDF Files?

I have a group of PDF Files that are Vendor Instruction Manuals for individual components, that I would like to pull together in an Instruction Manual for a given project. A project can consist of any number, or combination of components and I would like to use MS ACCESS to:

1. Enter Project Information (Project Name, Customer, etc)
2. Check off the components that are on the project
3. Import the individual PDFs into a Master Report for the project

My question is: Can I import a PDF into a Report (or multiple PDFs for that matter) based on the criteria selected in a Form? If not, is there a different file format that will work?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps creating an unbound ole object using the wizard will be the best solution. You can catalog your pdf files and place them in the appropriate directories and then link to them via the ole object in your reports.

edit: I was just thinking that it may be better to place the PDF in an attachment field and use a bound OLE object. Using an unbound object with the wizard will embed the object and probably be larger than the size of an attachement field. Have not played around much with attachment fields.
