    Error Using Setvalue Macro On A Navigation Form, Access 2010

    Hello,

    I'm very new to access and I'm attempting to create my first navigation form. My database has 10 forms (not including the navagation form) that I need users to choose from. Each form has a SetValue macro as follows:

    Item = [Forms]![MachineForm]![Operation]
    Expression = "Forklift"

    This runs OnLoad.

    It works perfect when I open the form. But When I try to add it to a tab in a navigation form it gives me an error requesting to stop all macros.

    Can anyone help me figure out what I can do to fix this issue?

    Thank you very much,

    I find navigation forms much more difficult to work with, especially with code, and don't use them. I think they were intended for web development.

    Review https://www.accessforums.net/forms/t...orm-32053.html

    Why do you need to save this value with code?
    How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
