    Enter Parameter Value error

    Hi guys,



    i am always fed up with this "Enter Parameter Value" do anybody have a solution for this..............

    recently i created a new database, what i did is from my old database i copied some of the form, table & queries to my new database and i changed the field name in the table as well as in form..... after that i'm get this parameter error....

    Eg: i change the name from "IssueTrackNo---->TrackingID"
    Error is----------> " Enter Parameter Value IssueTrackNo"


    Please help me in this issue.............

    Forms can keep their own copy of the RecordSource. Clear the RecordSource of the form and save it. Then open in design view again and set the RecordSource again.

    oh that's great..... thanks a lot.......... but how to clear record source? i'm really sorry i'm just a rookie in MS ACCESS.....

    Can you please help......

    ah ok i got it......... i tried that method.... i Cleared the RecordSource of the form and saved it. Then opened in design view again and i set the RecordSource again...... but still i get that error........

    Is the frmMaterialDetails Form open?

    There is the problem. Only *open* forms are listed in the Forms collection.

    if i open a particular form it giving me this parameter value

    Unless the frmMaterialDetails form is open, you will have this issue.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
