CanShrink Property and PDF

Does the CanShrink property not work when sending to pdf?



I am exporting a report which has collapsed rows with canshrink yet in the pdf they are, everything I have had hidden in the expression is now showing....

actually - no I don't have this one

my report works fine in the subform - displayes only the records I want to see using canshrink but when I go to print the report it doesn't shrink the null fields...

just very frustrating sometimes when you miss something obvious
