Am I on the right track with myRelationships?

    Hello,

This is a screenshot of my relationships. I am trying to create a database for winches in my building. Each winch has a specific serial number which will never be repeated and all other information is based off this serial number.

I am very new to access, but does it look like I am no the right track with my relationships, or am I completely wrong, or have I not given enough information?

    Thank you for you help,

Each Axis will have only one winch?

    Then looks good to me.

    I would add:

Do Not use spaces or special characters in object names. If you need to add units "(mm/s)", put in the comments when defining the field.

Spaces and special characters will cause you headaches later on.

    Good point, steve.

Avoid punctuation as well, underscrore is exception. Better would be DriveID or Drive_ID.

Also, no reserved words as names, not seeing any field names that are reserved, so that is a good step.
