    Making Access display records sequentially

    I don't know if this is possible, but I am new at this. I have records of vehicles numbered from B1 to B300. Can I make Access display records in the sequence B1 B2 B3 B4 B5 instead of B1 B10 B100 B101 etc?

    Those values are subject to alpha sort. If the values were B001, B002, B003, ... B300, then they would sort as you want. Otherwise, have to do some tricks in query to extract the number part. Do the values always begin with a single letter?

    SELECT * FROM tablename ORDER BY Int(Mid([fieldname],2));
