Error importing Excel file re search key not found

I am importing an Excel list of names and addresses into Access 2007. Very straighforward but in Access I keep getting an error messages that the search key could not be found in any record. I'm using 1 to 1237 in column A in Excel, then name, address, town state, zip. I did something similar to this the other day and they imported perfectly. Very frustrating because the help functions does not address the search key error. Thanks for any help.

Try removing the space from in front of the field names in the first row, if there are any. Otherwise, read the rest of this thread - https://www.accessforums.net/import-...cord-1852.html

It can also happen if the field names are reserved words, or in certain database corruption instances.
