Access Runtime and Split Database - Front End User Form Opens Blank

I have a split database - Back end is on a server, and front end will be on local hard drive. Front end users don't have full version of Access. Rather they are using Access Runtime, and I need any help with a VBA code that will automatically map the network drive to the back end database. Help!!!! Please!!!

So they are running an accde file? I've never worked with Runtime or accde. I do have code that programmatically sets pathing for table links. Otherwise, don't know what you mean by 'map the network drive to the back end' unless you mean 'create a drive mapping on the user's computer to the server folder'?

If you use UNC pathing in the table links, drive mapping is irrelevant.

The file was created in Access 2007 (.accdb). But we use Access 2010. I am assuming that versions don't really matter in Access Runtime? But yes, if I can get a code to set the path so that the tables update automatically (full Access or Access Runtime), that would be superb.
