    Navigation Problem

    I have made a contact form where particular member credentials are coming in text boxes, i have kept a combo box also on the top to view by the phone number, if the phone number is entered the credential of the member comes, and also the navigation buttons that is first, previous, next and last.

    The main problem if i select phone number by combo box on the top, the navigation button do not continue from that part, even if i press next or previous it shows no records found.

    Please help

    What is the code behind the combobox? Is it setting Filter property? The combobox is unbound?

    Want to provide db for analysis?

    The combobox code is more complicated than necessary. Options:

    1. Set Filter property to filter the records
    Me.Filter = "contact_number=" & Me.Combo35
    Me.FilterOn = True

    2. Use bookmarks to move to desired record
    With Me.RecordsetClone
    .FindFirst "contact_number=" & Me.Combo35
    If Not .NoMatch Then Me.Bookmark = .Bookmark
    End With

    The expression in textbox to display full name will never show "Untitled" because value of the expression will never be Null. Concatenation of string with Null results in string. Assuming there won't be a last name without first name, try instead:

    =Nz([First_Name],"Untitled") & " " & [Last_Name]

    The table shows that at the bottom.

    If you want to do that in form, it shows in the Navigation bar at bottom of form if you allow the bar.

    Forms have an intrinsic navigation control. You can set it to display or not display. It shows the number of records and the record number in the set that has focus. The control shows at the bottom of forms. It looks much like the navigation control that shows at bottom of tables and queries.
