    Question Changing Microsoft Access Templates

I downloaded MS Charitalbe Contributions Web DataBase and opened in Access 2010. I wanted to slightly modify the template data base but I noticed there appeared to be no way to access the Design phase of MS Access 2010. I have another template which I can modify if I want but this one appears to be different.

Is the other template also a web database?

Web database objects don't have Design view. Edits of forms and reports are done in Layout view. Table edits are done in Datasheet.

Edits are accomplished by selecting stuff from ribbon.

Thank you for quick reply. The other data base has a table called Transactions and various forms. It is not Web Based. I want to move the tables for the Transaction DB and certain forms to the Web Based Template so that when a user enters a Donation it is saved in the Transaction table. I have found little information on the Web Based apps and I really don't need a web based app but the application does all my non-profit needs except for transactions. Any help would be appreciated. Also can you write VBA code or does Web Based Apps use Macro's only? Also how do you get a field ex Donation Amt, Donation date etc to react to a Mouse Click which would then call some code to put the data into the Transaction table and Post it (Mark data so don't re-enter this transaction.

I have seen web database with non-web objects and VBA code but those parts would not be able to upload to Sharepoint. Only web objects and macros will work with Sharepoint.

You want to convert the web db to non-web? Bing: convert web database to non web
