Programmatically get data from SNP file?

We have a requirement to build an automated process to extract data from an SNP file and process it. My question is...is there a way to either programmatically convert an SNP file to a PDF or to extract the data from the SNP file itself?

Simply exporting a PDF instead of an SNP file is not an option in this scenario.

I am presuming Access cannot link to or import the SNP file like Excel or text files.

So unless the SNP can be opened as an object in VBA like with a text file then read lines of text and parse the strings, I doubt can extract from it.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

Then I expect you're SOL! A SNP file is for viewing only! Why can you not also export the report as a PDF file?

These files are coming in via FTP or some "to be written" transport process from external clients and then we have to process them. Company policy is that we take whatever format that is given and work with it instead of trying to get the client to change their practices.

Then you'll have to 'work with it' as if it were a hard copy, which, in essence, it is, and use 'people-power!'
