Update new Field if blank with existing data in another field

    Hi,

We recently added a new field in an ODBC table labeled InitialPromiseDate. If the new field, InitialPromiseDate, is blank, I want to popluate that field with the data that is in PromiseDt. How do I write my update query?

    UPDATE TableName
    SET InitialPromiseDate = PromiseDt
    WHERE InitialPromiseDate Is Null
