Opening aother application on a Access Form tab

I have a display with multiple tabs. On one of these, I would like to open an instance of J2ToGo (a multi-format blueprint viewer). I am not sure how to open this and have it confined to the tab. It is important to give the user the ability to move back and forth between the tabs with just a mouse click. Can anyone offer a suggestion or point me in the right direction.

You would have to employ an activeX control. If the application you are trying to incorporate does not provide one you are most likely out of luck. Imagine a PDF viewer. It has been a while and I try to stay away from ActiveX because of updating software but, you use to be able to use an ActiveX control to preview PDF files in your forms. I am sure you still can .

Anyway, maybe you can figure out the file type and goof around with it. Maybe the application has an export tool and a third party provides an active X for that file format. You would install the activeX on the local machine and then reference it within Access' VBE reference library. Then you would make an OLE connection to the file from your ActiveX object.
