    Non-Printing Buttons?

    Hello everyone!

Quick question, and I am hoping an easy answer.

Is there a way with Access to make a button(s) non-printing? If I use them on a report, that ultimately would be printed I wouldn't want/need a button printing on it. Is there a way to do this in Access?

    Many thanks!
    Karen

Buttons don't do anything on a report.

    Non-Printing Buttons

    Hi, & Thanks for replying...

I even tried it on a new report from the wizard, stuck a button on there which just does a navigation thing, and it worked. I wanted to double check I was actually on a report, (vs. query or table...) and I was. Problem is, it prints also. Just trying to ease navigation for a new user. (newer than I am).

Is this not supposed to work this way?

Well a report is a flat piece of paper and to me a button makes no sense. You can make the button invisible in the Print or Format event of the report.
