Pivot chart prints data labels with black back colour

I create a pivot chart using a form and have the source for the chart as a query. When I add data labels I make the fill color property 'none' (transparent). In the print preview the chart looks fine but when i print it, all the data labels are printed with a black fill. At the moment I have made the fill color of the labels white but when there is more information the labels overlap and the white background blocks some numbers in the data labels.

If I could get some insight into making the fill color of the data labels to be 'none' (transparent) that would be best.
    Thanks

Can you post a sample database so I don't have to create something from scratch to try and duplicate your problem.

    Sample pivot chart form

When the pivot chart form is viewed in print preview the data labels look fine. When it is printed they turn out with a black fill.

    Thanks for the reply.

Sorry I printed your chart out but the data labels on both x and y axis were normal.

Have you tried making your chart on a report instead of a form and seeing if that makes a difference?

I believe you cannot make a pivot chart on a report, only on a form, table or query. Thanks for your help though, maybe it's my printer that is causing the issue.

sure you can, if you can't get it working using parameters you can always append it to a temporary table then build the report on the temporary table.

Though the most obvious answer is that there's a miscommunication between your application and printer if I can print it without any problem. Try printing it to a different network printer (if you have one available)
