Totals Row Not Working in Access 2013 Datasheet View

I have been unable to get the Totals row in Access 2013 to calculate any values in Datasheet view. I can bring up the Totals Row to select a function

It is a 100% local table, not SQL, not linked. The problem has been noted on two separate machines using Windows 7 x64 and Microsoft Access 2013.

It looks like you're trying to get a subtotal on a query or table with those screen shots which I don't think you can do without using a union query between your detail and a summary query of the same data. Is there a reason you're attempting to do it in a table/query as opposed to a form/report?

I am not trying to get a subtotal - I want a total sum of the values of a column (or minimum, count, etc) of one single flat unfiltered local table. This was tested and is working fine on my version of Access 2007. I'm curious as to why it seems to not be working in Access 2013.

    Post Data Sheet Totals

Did you get a satisfactory solution to this, I am getting the same situation and it has happened overnight on two client sites so something in the environment must have changed but I have no idea where to start looking.

Have the same problem, started this morning.

Totals show in 2007 and 2010 but not in 2013.

    The totals do print though...weird

FYI - Rebooting the computers running 2013 now displays the totals

    Very weird.

I suspect that a Windows Update (KB update) may be the offender but haven't confirmed)

    I hope this helps

I have the same problem. I am running Access 2010. A simple flat table with the totals button selected is actually returning a sum but it is the incorrect sum. It used to work. I know that usually when a calculation is in error it us usually the user, but there is not a formula involved, simply the access total of a table.
