As stated earlier: "The only approach I am familiar with for assuring required fields are populated is to specifically check the value of each." The complication is coordinating this with the command button that closes the form. How to cancel the close action and return to the form for completion? My approach is to put validation code in the button event. Haven't tried the form BeforeUpdate event.

What type of validation code in button event? Run through a sequence to check required fields then close if all are filled? Can you use that to prompt a message box and return to form if there are more required fields to fill??

I feel like I need a way to allow that error and other commands, prompt my own custom message box, then stop the "Single Macro Error" pop up (which is specifically what I don't want). Running out of options.
