    its difficult to create the following Query

    The Access query designer is an elementary design tool. Access Help has guidelines on using the query designer. Here is another tutorial http://www.opengatesw.net/ms-access-...cess-Query.htm

    The resulting SQL statement built by the designer would be like:

    SELECT * FROM Member WHERE Status="On Hold" AND City="Richmond";
