    Question Data Transfer

I have a database of patient details and need to keep a record the date that patients have died. They have to be removed from the main table of patients, and their details/date of death saved separately.

Please can anyone advise me on the best way to go about this?

Most of us would leave the data in one table and add a date field for the date of death. You can use that field to query dead people, live people or both.
