Import Excel spreadsheet Search key not found error

    HI,
Using ACCESS 2010 (new) and EXCEL 2010 (experienced), trying to import 8 different EXCEL spreadsheets into ACCESS. I deleted the unnecessary rows at the top of the EXCEL sheets to try to ease importing, and one worked.

BUT at the end of the import attempt I get a "The Search Key was not Found in any record" error and it won't import the sheet.

    Help...?

I have searched books and help files and a professor CD I bought but no solution, )-:

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

are you doing your import with code or are you attempting to import each file by hand?

if it's by code, what is your code, have you got an example of your data?
