Is it possible see the query's name when the macro is running?

    Dear All,

Is it possible see the query's name when the macro is running?

Es. the Macro contains the queries 1,2,3 e 4

When the macro is running, will be useful see on top or below the window:

    1) which query is running after "x" time

    2) More useful see the query already run, the query is running and the queue query. (Es.: 1 e 2 run, 3 is running, 4 on queue)

When i run a Macro, now is possibile see a progress bar but without any reference

    Thanks and Regards, Christian

Access is NOT multi-threaded so these types of wishes are not always possible to fill. The same problem exists with a Progress Bar. I'm not conversant with Macro's but if you are running several queries with *code* than when each query finishes you could change a message on the screen. It might also be possible with a macro but as I said, not my field.

    Hi RuralGuy,

Mix Macro and VBA for me is not so easy but I'll try to find a solution and when I get it, I'll post it, Thank for your support!

Expanding on Rural Guy's comment, insert a message box in your macro (I, too do not employ macros but use VBA) after each query completes before the next one runs. This will prompt you to close the message box before the next query runs. In this manner you will know which query is running. See if this helps
