    creating an edited record report

Is it possible to create a report which keeps of track of edited records in order? Ie

    Date.....Time......CompanyID..

something simple like that so i can see what records have been edited in the DB.

If someone has ever done something like this in the past, Id love to hear how they did it.

    Many Thanks,

Need more details. Is this plain Access or Sharepoint? In Sharepoint, update information is automatically kept by the system. In Access, you have to roll your own. Luckily, there are several great sample databases, some of them on this site IIRC.

The first one that i was able to find in my notes is Martin Green's Audit Trail at http://www.fontstuff.com/access/acctut21.htm, which is an excellent tutorial with two samples.

    You're welcome!

If you're just poking around, rather than trying to learn antyhing in particular, I recommend this site: http://www.btabdevelopment.com/ts/de...aspx?PageId=54, which has links to a bunch of Access MVP sites. Very few of them have post-2003 vintage, but between all the sites, there's a lot of great stuff.
