Cause of fewer records in results?

Hello, I uploaded an excel spreadsheet with 14720 tracking numbers (7 are duplicates beccause somehow they were sent to different locations). I then create a relationship by tracking number to a table with years worth of tracking #'s and probably tons of duplicates from data entry errors.

Column A is tracking from my uploaded file. Colin B will be the tracking # from the primary tracking table.
Q1. If I select the option 2 join which is show ALL records from my unloaded table and only those that match from the primary. What causes the results to be 127 records short?
Q2. I've seen similar instances with more records than the table has, what leads to that?

Q1. That is odd. If you want to provide files for analysis, follow instructions at bottom of my post.

Q2. That can happen if there are multiple records in child table linking to the primary key of main table.

Could you please provide the two tables to help analyze this?

Thanks for the replies. It must be the database. Today it is returning extra records. The relationship is not with the primary key but I'm sure it is finding duplicate matches in the primary tracking table. Do I have to alter SQL to retrieve the exact amount of items that are found in the uploaded table or can I enter something in the criteria field?
    Thanks!

Will have to analyse records to determine solution.
