Change Primary Location of Access Database

I created a database that I want to move to a server for others to access. When they open it, it says invalid path. It's looking for my desktop. How do I get this whole database moved to a shared location on a server? Any and all help is appreciated!

Yes I have. Should I have not done that? If not, is there a way to reverse it?

Use the "Linked Table" manager and relink your BackEnd on your machine. Then redistribute the FrontEnd to all of you users.

I think I'm doing this correctly, however, it keeps reading the drive as a "T" Drive.. I want it to be the actual server name "\\mia-apps1\data\"

    How can I do that?

Actually, I'm not sure it's linking correctly.. It's still looking for "Local Desktop Version"

You need to go through the NetworkPlaces.

Thanks a lot RuralGuy, I think I got it. Not sure if I'm doing it the right way, but it seems to be working. I need to mess with these things a bit more .

Going through the Network Places uses UNC (Universal Naming Convention) so it should work regardless of where the FrontEnd is located. Glad we could help.
