    Why not use a ComboBox instead of an input mask?

    i trying to set the parameters in the Data Type of the table field, there is no option for a combo box. Is there not a way to format the data type to day of week?

    AFAIK = As Far As I Know. I personally do not use tables for input validation, I use forms.

    Using a Form

    The Format should be Text.

    The Default value of the Text Box should be

    =WeekdayName(Weekday(Date(),1),False,1)

    Also works for a Combo box as long as the bound field is text.
