Slow Conditional Formatting in Datasheet View

We're having a bit of a performance issue and I'm trying to improve it. I have forms that show in datasheet view and several of the fields have conditional formatting in them. (Many of these simply provide a background color that applies to all rows. I haven't found any other way to set the background on a cell in datasheet view except to use Conditional Formatting.) Whenever I move from one row to another, ALL the Conditional Formatting is cleared for all rows and columns, then they get re-applied. In addition to it being very annoying (it's like a flickering screen), it appears to slow down the cursor movement from one row to another. Any ideas how I can improve the appearance and performance of this?

    Thanks, Eddie

I experience the same issue on a very small db. Don't think it is fixable. It is what it is.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
