Calculated field on a form and output to a field in a table

Fairly new to Access and would to calc a field and output that value to a field in a table. For Example I have a field called [Deposit] and I am inputting that amount. The next field is an auto calc field called [CalcAmt]. That is working just fine. When I move to the next record, I want to save to a table a field called [Percentage] which will be the value of the field calculated called [CalcAmt]. Thank you any help would be appreciated.

Saving calculated fields is not normally considered to be good practice. See: http://allenbrowne.com/casu-14.html
