Filtering Report results with a choice-menu

    Hello everyone,

I'm having a problem with my system which I can't seem to solve, and google didn't provide the solution I needed.

As you can see in the images provided, I have a report which creates a list of all the records in the table "Hardware". I've added a choice-menu above "Hardware Type" which is supposed to activate a filter to show only the selected hardware type (simply said, if you choose "Laptop" you only get the laptops).

I honestly have no idea on how to exactly get this to work. If I manually enter the filther information through the Access menu's it works fine, but it would be great if it can function through the list.

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Greetings,

You would open the Report in a manner similar to how Paul opens the next Form here: http://www.baldyweb.com/wherecondition.htm
