    I'm sure this is an easy one! I have been looking for about 40 minutes trying to find a quick answer to this.
    I have a module to refresh all my forms when I click a button.

    The code for the button is below:

    Private Sub Command217_Click()
    Call RefreshForms
    End Sub

    I'm would like to use echo when it starts so all the flickering is not going on with my form, and a message box saying the "Calculating" to display,
    then to repaint the form when done, which is to stop the echo command.

    I think if I could understand what was happening exactly with the echo and how it calls the message box, I could have figured it out, but for some reason, I can not get this fairly simple task to click in my head.
    Any help is greatly appreciated!
    Thanks in advance!

    Never used Echo so I Googled. Looks like a good discussion at

    I don't think there is a 'message box' - review
    How to attach file: To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
