    Query multiple field & criteria

    Dear All,

I am beginner using m access. I use access 2003 and have a problem.
For example, I have a table with name Alfa like this:
    NameDate Value
    A 10/30/2009 2
    B 10/30/2009 3
    C 10/30/2009 4
    A 10/31/2009 3
    B 10/31/2009 2
    C 10/31/2009 7
Then, i want make a query which result like this:
Name Value for Date 10/30/2009 Value for Date 10/31/2009
    A 2 3

    B 3 2
    C 4 7
I have tried to make query using Design and put criteria in each value field value use:[Date]="10/30/2009" for value in first column field & use [Date]="10/30/2009" for value in second column

Data type for date using text. When i run this, there no result, just blank. But if i just make query use 1 field for value such as only query for date 10/30/2009 then 1 get the result. So, I need help how to solve this problem.

    Thanks in advance

Try using the crosstab query wizard.
