    High School Help

Hello everyone I hope you are all well.

I am a high school math teacher trying to create an Access database to house my student grades. I would like to have a table or perhaps a query that can contain the list of student names in the first column, the test average in the second column and the tests that generated the average in the remaining columns. I would like to be able to add new tests easily and have the average change accordingly. I am having a problem adding the columns to calculate the average. Can anyone help?

    LName, FName, Avg., test1, test2, test3,.............

    MS Access 2003, Vista Home

    Regards

Try a cross tab query and select average when prompted on how to display the value.
