A brief preface to give you an idea of my experience/abilities. I'm relatively new to Access but have learned enough to develop a database for the Health & Safety committee of the organization I work for (approx. 60 staff). Apart from personal information about each staff, we also track a variety of dates pertaining to the expiration or need for renewal of licences and certificates (first aid, drivers, emergency response, etc). The only scripting experience I have is a couple of classes in Powershell I recently took.
What I would like is to be able to run a query (for instance, everyone who's first aid expires in the next 3 months) and once the results are returned, have the ability to click a button to send an email to all personnel listed. It would not need to be an individualized email, just a pre-written message about the pending deadline.
I'm guessing this will involve VB script, which I have no experience with (but with research could begin to understand).
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Cheers!
