    Lightbulb Check Register Database

I have had a lot of help on this site and tried to give back what I can. This is a Check Register database I wrote over 10 years ago.It is simple with no bells and whistles but it works. I am using Access 2010 64 bit, but the database is in 2000 format. I think it is self explanatory but have no problem explaining. My wish is that someone get some use out of it. Please see form Warning for details as to copyright and use. Many thanks to everyone who has helped me and to those have not but helped others. Too big to upload, 3,717kb. Sorry!

Dave, thanks for the sample db.

I get error when attempting to open: Compile error in query expression 'ConvertCurrencyToEnglish([debit]'.

    The compiler fails on:
Private Declare PtrSafe Function apiGetUserName Lib "advapi32.dll" Alias _
"GetUserNameA" (ByVal lpbuffer As String, nsize As Long) As Long

I can't find PtrSafe used anywhere so I commented those two lines and the compile succeeds and the FReg form opens.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

My apologies. it is in 64 bit. Remove that line that says PtrSafe. Recompile, let me know if this works!

CheckRegister Database 32 bit 2000 Format.

Ok, here it is in 32 bit in 2000 format, my humble apologies. have been in 64 bit for so long now, forgot. It seems that my health is really in decline and is affecting my brain, my apologies. I will try and pay more attention. Please let me know if there are any errors when using the db.

    Thanks,

Just glanced at this to see what it was. I think it should say Cheque, and not Check.

I kinda abandoned the scheduler a while ago although it does work. Kinda complicated to use though. Sorry, been off the net for a bit.
I will take a look back at the scheduler and see if it something worth sharing in it's present state.

    Thanks,

Are you just interested in the Scheduler by itself?

if its is complicated with the Check Register Database, then separate Scheduler will be fine otherwise the opposite.
But if u can post both, it will b great. In that case i can judge the level of complicity and choose accordingly.

    Regards.

I have decided NOT to give this away. If you require some kind of scheduler Allen Browne has an excellent one.
