how do I create custom part numbers?

I want access to generate a part number for me using information from other fields. For example, I want to create a part number using 1) supplier code (JA), 2) product size (LG), 3) product type (SRT), 4) color (BK) and then an auto number (0008) The end result in this case would be "JA-LG-SRT-BK-0008" Is there an easy way to do this? Thanks for the help

I guess you know the first part so you are wanting to generate the incrementing part at the end?
