Connect an access frontend to sql server backend online

I have designed a large access database with bound forms. i then splitted it into a fornt and a back ends, also i transformed the backend into sql server

    database using SSMA.

What i need to do is to install the access frontend on five PCs in five provinces. this PCs should access the one sql server backend which is installed on

a server located in one of these provinces.

Since this will be via internet. Is it possible to connect the access FrontEnd to an Online Database? i red that it could be accomplished through ODBC.

    http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/...d.php?t=218247

however, i need a detailed explanation on how to set up the DSN for the five PCs.

Ps: I have access to all five Pcs besides the server.

in THIS POST "rpeare" mentioned that it is possible to create a 'web' database out of an access project and publish forms/GUI as web pages.

Well with access 2010 I believe it's possible to create a 'web' database and publish your forms/GUI as web pages as well which would let anyone access it. If you're talking about allowing them access as though they were on your network I don't know of a way to do that that wouldn't be extremely prone to attack/hacking. When your users are logging into their remote machines they are not really logging into your network (from the sound of it) the PC's just have their own security.

regardless of sql server, how can i do this in access 2010?

(no matter how prone to attacks and hacking)
