Moving the functionality in an Excel Workbook over to Access

I've build an Excel workbook that contains extensive use of VBA code for UserForms, Control Buttons, etc. and also contains several sheets that are formatted as Tables and function as databases. We've outgrown Excel's capabilities and need to move over to Access.
Before I purchase Access 2013 and start the project, can anyone share their experience or advise of how much of what is in my Excel Workbook can be transposed and used in Access?
    Thank you,

    John

I did that once. Built forms and reports in Access, copied code that seemed salvageable (mostly custom functions) from the Excel and basically read every line of code to make sure fit with Access structure. Wasn't a big Excel file so not too bad.

You could try third party tool like http://www.coolutils.com/Excel-to-Access
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
