Export to excel from Access Table and password protect it

    Hi All,

I have a access table that i need to export to a specific excel file and over write data to the same excel sheet without changing name to it. In addition i also need a code to password protect the excel file.

Presently i do a action macro which exports data and over writes but the password protection piece is missing. If some one can provide VBA code to password protect the excel file alone also is welcomed

What do you mean by 'action macro'? Not VBA code? If it is VBA, post code for review.

To do this from Access, VBA must open Excel objects and manipulate them in the code.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
