Expression for Multiple Between dates (two sets of ranges)

Hello I am new to the forum and also fairly new to Access. I am using access 2007 and had a question regarding setting criteria in a query. I currently have a Query that has the year 2012 and 2013 as Row Headings and the case type as column headings (New Client, Existing Client, Prospect Client). The results are a count of the cases completed. Now with this chart I am trying to compare last years totals with this years totals. The catch is I only want it to count cases for January of last year and January of this year. When February comes around I would like it to compare January-February of 2012 to January-February of 2013, etc as the months move on. I am guessing I will have to use multiple Between formulas but I do not know how to write this correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Matt

Thank you for the link but I have seen this post already. This does not solve my problem because the setup is different but I see now I will just have to do a more round about approach. I was hoping that there would be a way to just type an expression that singled out January of 2012 and January of 2013 for the one row heading in my query.

    Thank you

Maybe, but I don't know your data and don't really understand what you mean by 'singled out January of 2012 and January of 2013 for the one row heading'.
