Dear Gurus,
this enquiry relates to this little gem...:
"Security Warning certain content in this database has been disabled"
Clicking on OPTIONS and ENABLE THIS CONTENT turns it off, but only for the current session.
ie: every time the database is closed (access is closed) the content must be enabled again.
The only way round this is to open the trust center and clicking on
"never show information about blocked content"
This works, but again, only for current session. Once this selection is made, the VB code doesnt run next time you open Access and the database.
SO... the questions are..:
1. Is this security firewall an Access level thing, or can it be made local to the database file?
and therefore..
2. Can it be switched off once only for a particular database?
ie: the first time the database is opened in a new pc, you only have to select "Enable This Content" once..
thanks a million in advance
