    #Name? error in a control

I'm pretty new to access, and seem to be able to work with most things, but this one has me pulling out what little hair I have left.

I have two text boxes in a form. Both have calculated controls. The first one uses:
=IIf(DateDiff("d",[prsHotzoneSCBAfitTestDate],Now())>365,"SCBA Fit Test Overdue","SCBA Fit Test Is Current")

    And the second one:
    =[prsHotzoneHZorNonHZ]

The form data source is the source of all my fields.

The control names are not the same as any fields.

When created the text boxes and added the control functions, they worked fine. But after I shut the database down and restarted it, I get the #Name? error in both controls. If I edit anything, say the text box(control) name, in either text box, the functions work again in both. But the error returns, in both, after I close the database and reopen it.

I am using Access 2010 on Windows 7.

Any thoughts would be so very much apreciated.

    Greg

What do you mean by 'control functions'?
