    combo box for date interval

    Please help me with doing the date as in I want to have two combo boxes for the receipt form. The receipt form contains the following dates. 26/01/2001, 29/01/2001, 31/01/2001, 03/02/2001, 05/02/2001, 10/02/2001. However, I want a combo box to let me select a date, eg 26/01/2001 and the combo box besides it to select a date on 03/02/2001. This would mean that the receipt form should appear only those that falls between the date from 26/01/2001 to 03/02/2001.

    There is no reply to the answer and I presume that my explanation may not be clear enough. That is the reason why I've re-posted. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

    One way to do what you want is with parameterized query. The query could be the RecordSource for report. The two comboboxes would be unbound (no ControlSource). The query would be like:

    SELECT * FROM tablename WHERE datefield BETWEEN Nz(Forms!formname!comboStart, #1/1/1900#) AND Nz(Forms!formname!comboboEnd, #12/31/2200#);
    How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
