Autopopulate completed and required data from a table inside of a form.

    Ok,

Now that I can autopopulate text boxes in my forms, I have, what I assume will be, a more difficult task. Here is a link to my original question (that pbaldy graciously solved for me):

    https://www.accessforums.net/forms/t...-id-31328.html

Now, after I input an ID number, I would like to autopopulate to different fields (completed work orders and required work orders) that will contain several orders each. What i have is an ID that has a type of maintanence, a work order (which will either say REQUIRED, N/A, or a work order number such as WO 200). When i input the ID# I would like the form to autofill all of the completed work orders (any order with a number like WO 200), all of the required work orders (if field says required), and omit all orders that say N/A.

If you have any tips or need any extra info, let me know.

    Thanks!

    SeanA

Well, I have run into a problem. It seems a combo box will only allow for 20 fields. So, I'm not sure if what I want to do is is even possible at this point.

Not to mention I was basically trying to do nested if statements. That would have taken forever.

I think i got it! I haven't finished yet, but I do believe I have it. I will use an extra table, build some queries, and place a few subforms inside of my form. I think this will work. Huzzah!
