    Multiple Table query

    Hi all

I'm quite new to access, so this is probably an easy one.

    I have 3 tables that I want to run a query from, say A, B and C.

I want all of the records from A to be displayed, and any matching info in B and C to be deisplayed based on the link between them all. When I run a query, it only displays the records that match in all three (for example, one of the databases I've been 'handed' is to do with cars, and all three tables share the registration detail, but B (drivers) and C (expenses) don't list every reg in table A). I want all of table A's info to display, and if there's some details missing in B and C, I want it to just display nothing. Will I need to make sure all registrations appear in all three?

Change the join type. Click on the join properties and change the join type to outer join, the one where all the records for A will be displayed and only ones for that matches for other table will be displayed.
