Display Quarterly Date and SemiAnnually Date on Form

I am at a loss of the syntax to display using 2 unbound fields as to how to display:
One for A Quarterly Date and one for a SemiAnnually Date

I assume,, yeah I know that a semiannual date is a yearly date by 2 and a quarterly date the year divided into 4. I guess there are some different opinions but I gotta start somewhere. Since this is a check register db I suppose it does make a difference.

I'm not understanding your need and therefore how to provide an answer. Please give us an example of how you would need or use a semi-annual or quarterly date. In my mind a date value is a date value is a date value. Are you looking to take some date and add 180 days to it in the future? If that is the case, then try the DateAdd function in Access

I guess I am not very good at explaining myself. I have a check register db and therefore need to make future transactions. Create a repeat check for example that needs to be entered into the db once every 6 months, i.e. semiannual. Therefore I need the date syntax for that criteria. What is the date syntax for every six months starting from whatever date i give it which will be most likely Date() or whatever! Take whatever date I give and add 6 months to it is an example of what i need. Also then I need same thing for quarterly and for me this means 4 quarters starting with January Thru March as the first quarter. Does that explain it?
