Question Calling Query from different Access DB

I have a front end and back end DBs.
I have tables and QUERIES in my backend db. I can't put the queries in my front end.

Is it possible to link to my queries?

    Thank you

Why can't you put the queries in the front end? This is where they should be anyway.

    dcrake,
I fully understand and that is how i'm used to doing it. The reason I need it just in the back end is because some of the people looking at the data will look at it through a different database application and they have to be able to see the tables and the view queries that I write. I've used access a decent amount and this is the first time i've ever had to do it like this. I wish we could just link them like we do with tables.

    Thank You
    Jerry

If the users can see your back end can they not simply import the queries into their front end? or does it not work like that? It's not that I am trying to aviod the solution, its just that I'm trying to prevent it being an issue in the first place.

The only alternative is for you to export your queries to the back end as tables. That only works for select queries, not action queries.

    dcrake,
Thank you for your help. I agree that it should be done the normal way but I have no say in the way this is done. I'm just going to keep my view queries on the back end and just write my sql when needed in VBA. That will be my best resolution I think.
