    Linking two tables

I'm very new to Access and am creating a database to help organize a medical record chart review for my thesis work. I have already set up the database for all the demographic information (age, sex, race, etc), but now I want to include medication informatin (dose, med name, date administered etc). But the problem is that each patient recieves different medications at different times and in different frequencies.

to get over this problem I created another table with all the medication information on it and linked the ID numbers. But now it is only letting me enter the information of only one medication. How do I add a second (and sometimes 50th) set of medication informatino while keeping it linked to the same ID?

You need to make sure that header id of the patient is not the prinary key in the medications given table. This should be a foriegn key.
