I need a little advice here from an expert to let me know if I am on the right track. I am building a database in Access 2010. I am trying to connect vendors with equipment and manfacturer and then connect the vendors and equipment used on project to the projects. I am getting a little confused as to just how this should all go together. I tried to attach a pdf that shows the primary keys and relationships of the tables I built.

Thanks for any advice anyone can give.

What's the purpose of tblProject_Vendor? My guess is you can do without some of the links, but it isn't clear what your business facts/rules are.

We want to be able to pull up a project and see what vendor(s) were used, what equipment was used and who the manufacturer was, we also want to see what employees worked on the project. With the vendors we are also, keeping track of what equipment they have and what manufacturers they work with. It makes sense until to try and put it all into tables and lay it out.

Here's another relationship to consider. You know the business and we don't - so there may be things here that don't match your needs. Test it with your rules ....

This definatly looks a lot cleaner. I am going to make a few adjustment to mine and then plug in some data to see if I am getting what I want. Thanks for your help.
